- With 25 years of experience in the Transportation business, I know the ongoing needs of drivers. I take pride in our professional drivers & their commitment to provide reliable service to our customers. I have assembled a team driven to succeed & encourage you to join us.
As the President of Harris Quality Inc., I do whatever it takes to get the job done. I grew up in a trucking family. My parents always taught me to treat people with respect and how to put in a hard day's work. I bought my first truck when I was 20 years old and had to hire a driver for it because I was not old enough to drive it. When I was 23, I bought five more trucks and pulled reefers to the west coast out of Kansas City. Being a one-man show in Kansas City I did everything from mechanical work, to booking my own loads, sales calls, to taking a load if I did not have a driver. If a load needed to be delivered many a time have I jumped in a truck to maintain my excellent customer service. With an opportunity to expand, I moved to Omaha where I could better serve my customers. My current facility in Gretna, Nebraska is a modern facility with room to grow and plenty of secure parking with internet accessible security cameras. As I look toward the future, transportation is a solid industry, even as energy prices rise trucks are a necessity to keep the economy moving. This will never change. Service is the only thing that sets us apart from the competition. To give excellent service you have to have pride in what you do. I look forward to working with you in the future.
